Kinga Brzewska

I am a psychotherapist in the course of a comprehensive 4-year training at the School of Gestalt Psychotherapy in Warsaw, accredited by EAGT (European Association of Gestalt Therapy).

I am a certified crisis intervention consultant of the IPTK [Institute for Positive Crisis Therapy].

I offer individual psychotherapy for adults:

• struggling with difficult emotions, anxiety, depression;
• experiencing difficulties in relationships;
• facing crises or significant life decisions.

In the spirit of Gestalt therapy, I believe that every person has enough resources to take care of themselves, to cope with their suffering and adversities.

In my therapeutic work, I focus on seeking to improve the Client’s current functioning by:

• drawing on her (his) personal experiences and resources,
• identifying limiting beliefs,
• broadening self-awareness, so that at the end of the process the Client is ready to take full responsibility for her (his) life.

I gained my professional experience, among other institutions, at the Centre for Assistance to Victims of Crime “Blue Line of the Institute of Health Psychology” and the Social Care Home for People with Mental Disorders “Leśny” in Warsaw. I have many years of practice of my own work with the body and voice. I am continuously developing my competences and clinical experience by participating in trainings and internships.

I work under constant supervision.

I offer consultations in Polish and English.

I have two sons: a high school student and a university student.
